About Our

Zoology Department

The Department of Zoology, Tejgaon College, Dhaka started its journey in 2003 with a mission of providing quality education and scientific research opportunity in zoological science.

The current strength of the faculty of the department is 08. Most of them have earned their higher degrees from renowned universities in Bangladesh and are dedicated to teaching and research in their respective areas. Every year, the department enrolls a good number of undergraduate and graduate students and offers four-year B.Sc (Honours), one-year thesis, and non-thesis M.Sc., B.Sc (Pass) in Zoology. Currently, it has three branches, namely Entomology, Fisheries, and Wildlife Biology in the department with updated curricula.
